Apple Bars
directions

2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups oatmeal
1 cup butter
5 cups apples, sliced
1 1/2 cups sugar



directions

Mix flour, salt and baking soda.
Add brown sugar and oatmeal.
Cut in 1 cup butter and mix until crumbly.
Spread 1/2 of mixture into a 9 x 13 pan.
Add sliced apples, and sprinkle with sugar.
Cover apples with remaining crumb mixture.
Bake at 350, 40-45 minutes.
Serving Ideas: Serve warm with ice cream.
