Crisp Apple Tart

2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons baking powder 3 tablespoons butter
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
4 large tart apples
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Pare, core and slice apples and set aside.
Combine dry ingredients (except sugar and cinnamon) and cut in butter. Stir in egg and milk to form soft dough.
Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness, circular or rectangular.
Place dough on greased cookie sheet.
Arrange apples on surface and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
